Short story about purchasing ART

(Russian traditional)

Father and daughter decided to bye a painting for Mom at her birthday.

They went to the shop and asked, if they have any paintings for sale. No, sorry, sold out. They went to the next art gallery. -Any art for sale?  - No, sorry.  In the third gallery - the same.

They were really upset, and were already on the way home, but the salesman said - Hold on! I have one painting for myself, but if you like it, you can have it. Father with daughter liked the piece of art a lot and purchased it.

 They mounted the painting in the bedroom and were happy about it. But the same night, mother woke up because someone's hands were touching her. She started to scream and realized, that the hands belong to painting. Father took his knife and cut couple fingers, and the hands let mom go.

Next day they took the painting to the salesman back. He said, I ll return the money! But he had two fingers cut off!

Our family called the police with a handy and weirdo was arrested!

What happened with a painting - we do not know.
